Sunday, May 4th - High School Discussion Group from 12:30 –
2:30pm This is a great opportunity for high school youth to
invite their friends for fellowship and fun, in the church
fellowship hall. Plan on joining us! Bring a bag lunch!

Luncheon Club – Wednesday, 7th at 12PM Come and enjoy a
beautiful spring afternoon by joining us at the Luncheon Club.
It’s a great time of food and fellowship on the first Wednesday
of each month. If you are bringing food please contact Betty
Nortz at 376-2853.
Newsletter Deadline – Thursday, May 8th
Sunday, May 11th - “Mother’s Day Pancake Breakfast” We will be
serving breakfast at serving at 8:45am & 9:45am. Bring your
mother’s or wives to a delicious pancake breakfast. Make your
reservations today, using the bulletin insert. This event is a
fun-raiser to help support youth going to Kingdom Bound this

Youth Community Service Project - Monday, May 12th at 7PM at
Lewis County General Hospital. The Hospital is in need of our
help in decorating a section of the hospital for a fifties theme
event. All those wanting to help must sign-up with Pastor Gary
by May 7th.
Church Covered Dish Dinner - Sunday, May 18th This will be a
great opportunity for fellowship and always good food following
the morning worship service at 12:15p. Please bring a dish to
pass sufficient for your number plus a few others.
“Narnia: Prince Caspian” Sunday, May 18th - We will be seeing
the second film of the Chronicles of Narnia series on at the 2PM
at the Lowville Town Hall Theater. There is a sign – up sheet on
the youth bulletin board if you would like to attend. The
deadline is May 13th. More information becoming available as the
movie date draws closer. Families are encouraged to take
advantage of this opportunity to both see and support this
movie, and the teachable moments it may present. Questions? Call

Our Deepest Sympathy to Jay Curry and family during this time.
We pray for God’s comfort and love during this time as they
grieve the loss of Jay’s mother.

MISSION NEWS: The latest newsletter from Lisa (Franklin) Ncaca
in South Africa has arrived. A limited number of copies are on
the mission table by the library. If none are there, ask Pastor
Reed to have one sent to you.
Other Local Ministries:
If you’re interested in knowing more about what goes on at a
Crisis Pregnancy Center and would like to be involved helping
women through difficult pregnancies. Or interested in a good
meal! Come to the CareNet Banquet Thursday May 22 at the
Watertown Elks Lodge 728 Bradley Street in Watertown.
Registration is at 6:30 and dinner at 7. They would like to know
how many to cook for so reservations are appreciated before May
